Jack J. Feldman retired in 2006 as a Senior Manager with 36 years of experience working for the Los Angeles Department of Water & Power (LADWP).  Feldman holds several degrees including a BSEE from California State University, an MSEE from the University of Southern California, and a Management Certificate from the University of California, Los Angeles. Additionally, he attended the MBA program at Pepperdine University.

After his retirement from LADWP, Feldman continued to be actively involved in various community organizations, serving in the Kiwanis Service Organization and in Koreh LA, a literacy program for underprivileged youth. He also volunteered for the West Hills Neighborhood Council and its Environmental and Energy Committee and continues to serve as an Emergency Response Team Captain. Feldman has a profound interest in history and is actively involved in several Southern California historical societies.

Feldman joined the executive Board of Water & Power Associates (W&PA) shortly after retiring and currently serves in the role of Webmaster, Virtual Museum Curator and is on the Newsletter Editorial Board. He takes great pride in developing and maintaining the W&PA website. The website features newsletters that cover current pressing issues in Los Angeles and Southern California, as well as op-ed pieces and legislative positions on water and energy issues. Furthermore, it includes a one-of-a-kind virtual museum with over 20,000 images accompanied by historical notes, highlighting the significant role water and electricity played in the development and growth of Southern California.

Feldman has remained connected to LADWP, giving talks to new engineer orientation classes about the department's history and the importance of their roles in shaping the department's future. He also frequently speaks to local historical societies and other non-profit organizations about the crucial role water played in LA and Southern California's development. Feldman has a passion for history and is dedicated to preserving and sharing the region's historical significance through the W&PA website and virtual museum.
